John Ryan – Ryan’s Rant

09/10/2010

What a simply pathetic way to start the NFL season. All the hoopla and excitement came crashing down with a few elite players led by Drew Brees announced to the world that the players and the players union are of one team. I have seen some ‘stupid’ moves in my life, but that has to be one of the most selfish and idiotic moves. What did that accomplish? To ‘anger’ the fans – for lack of a more appropriate slang phrase – and attempt to send a message to the owners is absurd and ranks up there in greater stupidity than the TO and Ocho Cinco actions.

If you like Ohio State then you are gong to love this system that has gone 24-3 ATS for 89% winners since 2000. Play against road dogs of 3.5 to 10 points after gaining 6.25 or more yards per play in their previous game facing an opponent after gaining 7.25 or more yards per play in their previous game. Buckeyes are also a near perfect 12-1 ATS in home games after gaining 7.25 or more yards per play in their previous game since 1992.

If you like Miami check out this 18-year system that has produced a record of 56-24 for 70% ATS winners. Play on dogs of 3.5 to 10 points in the first two weeks of the season after 1 or more consecutive wins against the spread. if you like the potential for a huge upset win by Miami then not that they are 18-3 against the money line after allowing 3.25 or less yards per play in their previous game since 1992.
